mount the stair, turn the handle... but the- time to turn back and descend the stair
so how do i begin?
in decision?
in revision?
can i borrow someone else’s beginning?
this space between here and that place i’ve never been... its vast- like a gulf. no no that’s not it- i think its deeper. it’s more of a trench.
i think the trench is a unique place...
and it takes a little time but you’ll feel better about most of these things

“a performance that reimagines traditional Georgian clothing through a queer perspective. The artist becomes a living version of the Chokha-a traditional male garment-using movements inspired by ancient Caucasian rituals. Blending poetry and Georgian folk singing, the piece challenges the rigid masculinity tied to the Chokha and opens space for queer stories within cultural tradition.”

this broken string of beads lying at my feet the night after we found out we lost you. you who showed me my spine. broke it into a million pieces and showed me its infinity. who taught me about my own breath. who brought me home to my body.
these little pieces still somehow strung together were deep blue and milky like the cloudy night sky i still think they fell from.
